The design was inspired by Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis series is exhibited worldwide, including at the Musée d'Orsay, and is still widely recognized as highly valuable tableware.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTwo types were produced: one with a blue brushstroke pattern on the rim of the plate, and one with a relief on the rim.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe series we are introducing here is the Service Rousseau known as \"à crêtes,\" which has a relief on the rim and was produced from 1866 to 1938.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe backstamp reads \"E.
