Today, we'd like to introduce some wonderful vintage plates that have just arrived from France. These are dessert plates from the Creil et Montereau pottery, made between the 1920s and around 1950.

This time, we were able to prepare seven pieces from the same series in good condition.

Timeless beauty that stands out precisely because of its simplicity

A soft cream yellow base, framed by a single brown line along the rim. This remarkably simple design seems to tell the story of how much it was loved in French homes of the era.

The "crazing" unique to antiques covers the surface, creating a moist, deep texture not found in new tableware. Each piece has its own individuality, with uneven glaze and small bumps from manufacturing, all contributing to their endearing charm.

The 18.5cm diameter plate is exceptionally versatile. Use it to serve your favorite baked goods or as a side plate for bread at breakfast.
