I have uploaded antique plates from the Sarreguemines "Groseilles" series.
Today, we've added the "Groseilles" series from French antique U&C Sarreguemines to our shop, featuring illustrations of fresh berries.
This time, we are introducing two designs: delicate "redcurrants" and charming "gooseberries" with their plump fruits. Although they belong to the same series, the types of berries depicted and the appearance of the "crazing" that has developed over many years differ from piece to piece, offering a unique, once-in-a-lifetime encounter that is characteristic of antiques.
Enjoying Antique Plates in Everyday Life
While we sometimes receive questions like, "How should I use antique dishes?", there are actually endless ways to enjoy them as interior decor, beyond their practical use.
-
As Wall Decoration If you hang them on the wall using plate hangers, that space instantly becomes a small museum. The botanical art, depicted in shades of blue, adds a quiet depth to the room.
-
The Centerpiece of Your Favorite Corner Stand them on a plate stand and nestle them on a shelf with dried flowers or candles. They pair wonderfully with wooden furniture, creating a warm, French-chic atmosphere.
-
The Joy of Appreciating Change Among the pieces uploaded this time, there is one that has developed fine crazing throughout and transformed into a soft cream color. This "aged" texture is a privilege unique to antiques that new items can never achieve. Gazing at the sparkling lines on the surface as the light hits them is a particularly soothing experience.
A Unique Piece, Just for You
We have a selection of plates, each with its own distinctive character, from those with a glossy, dignified presence to those with a profound depth that speaks of a long history.
All of them are in good condition, with no chips or significant damage, indicating that they have been carefully preserved.
Please take your time to view the details on the product page. May a gentle breeze, as if from an old French garden, blow into your life.
