We have added vintage tableware from the Digoin & Sarreguemines "Marylou" series.
Today, we've added items from the Mary-Lou series by French vintage tableware makers Digoin & Sarreguemines.
The Mary-Lou series is characterized by adorable hand-painted floral patterns on warm cream or clean white backgrounds. The gentle texture unique to handcrafted items and the somewhat nostalgic, rustic atmosphere evoke the scenery of the French countryside (campagne).
The plump flowers are delicate, and simply looking at them brings a sense of peace. The vibrant blue line on the rim subtly enhances the overall impression, adding a refined accent.
This time, we are featuring plates that can be used in various settings.
- Warm cream-colored plates: The hand-painted floral patterns are gentle, adding warmth to your dining table.
- White plates: The red and blue floral patterns stand out vibrantly, creating a modern and bright impression. Also, note the stencil work on the leaves.
- Cream-colored deep dishes: Perfect for soups and stews. The hand-painted floral patterns gently adorn your dining table.
- White dessert plates: Ideal for serving cakes and fruits, making your after-dinner dessert time more enjoyable.
And the cream-colored raviet, which adds a touch of elegance to your table. It's useful for serving appetizers or small baked goods.
Furthermore, we have also prepared a white pitcher that can serve as an accent in your room. It makes a wonderful statement even when simply placed as decor, in addition to being perfect for holding flowers. (Note: This pitcher has a small chip on the spout. Please check the product page for details.)
All of these are vintage items made between the 1920s and 1960s, and each possesses a unique charm stemming from its history and character that modern mass-produced items lack.
