Vintage Raviere: French Elegance to Adorn Your Table

Today, we have uploaded a new collection of unique vintage ravieres.

A ravier is an oval-shaped plate treasured in French dining for serving appetizers, side dishes, and hors d'oeuvres. The ravieres we are introducing today are all one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, each from a different pottery and era. Their beauty and warmth, passed down through the ages, will add a special touch to your daily meals and living space.

Diverse Expressions from French Potteries

This time, we have uploaded ravieres from the following potteries:

  • Badonviller Pottery: Characterized by deep wine-red lines and chic rose motifs. Its elegant and warm design blends naturally into modern tables.

  • Digoin & Sarreguemines Pottery:

    • Agreste Series: Elegant with a ruffled scalloped rim and wine-red lines. The wildflower design evokes the French countryside.

    • Mary-Lou Series: Cream-colored base with simple small flowers and hand-painted blue edges creating a country style.

    • 9177 Series: A sophisticated piece of art featuring a hand-painted rose bouquet on a soft salmon-pink base.

  • Lonchamp Pottery: Features an octagonal shape, distinct from the common oval. The vibrant green monochrome with dot relief gives a modern impression.

  • Longwy Pottery: A distinctive gourd-like shape with romantic, delicate floral vine patterns.

  • HBCM Pottery (Creil & Montereau): A country-chic design with brown-toned botanical patterns stenciled on a pure white base, exuding the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.

  • Arcopal:

    • Myosotis (Forget-Me-Not) Series: Delicate, pale blue forget-me-nots are exquisitely drawn on beautiful milky white opaline glass, creating a nostalgic atmosphere.

  • Pichon Uzès: Features a lovely octagonal shape and a warm, vibrant yellow glaze. The pearl rim adds an elegant accent.

  • Unidentified Pottery Ravier: An elegant antique-like piece with a chic gold line and cross-hatch pattern on a cream-colored base, scattered with vibrant small flowers.

With their unique designs and textures, these ravieres can be enjoyed not only for dining but also for holding a single flower, as an accessory tray or small item holder, or as decorative display items.
