Today, we've uploaded items from the Salins faience factory's Directoire series.
We've added a total of eight plates (dinner plates, soup plates, and dessert plates) from the Salins factory dating to the early 20th century.
This is a lovely series featuring a ribbon and rose garland design inspired by the Directoire style.
There are two backstamps: R&A are the initials of RIGAL & AMELINE, and E.C are the initials of Edouard Charbonnier. Since he became the president of the Salins factory from 1912, we can infer that these pieces were made around 1912.
