Today, we've added plates from the Creil-Montereau and Bordeaux potteries.
The Creil-Montereau plate is a small and charming piece from the "Service Flandre" series. Flanders refers to the region encompassing Belgium, northern France, and southern Netherlands.
Its handmade (stamped) garland design along the rim is absolutely delightful.
The Bordeaux plate is from the "Guirlande" series, featuring a delicate and beautiful design of floral and leaf motifs on both the well and the rim.
Both plates date from the late 19th to early 20th century.
