We have added antique/vintage footed plates.
A touch of French antique charm. We've added a collection of beautiful vintage footed plates to adorn your dining table.
Today, nine captivating vintage and antique footed plates have joined our collection. Created by historic French potteries, these unique plates not only add splendor to your dining table but also exude a special presence as accents in your room.
The allure of one-of-a-kind pieces, showcasing skilled craftsmanship
The collection we've received includes works from renowned French potteries such as Salins, Creil & Montereau, Longchamp, and Gien, as well as rare series specially made for historic department stores like Nouvelles Galleries, and masterpieces sold at the famous pottery shop Emile Bourgeois, each with a rich background.
Designs loved across generations
From delicate paintings heavily influenced by Japonism in the late 19th century to the free-flowing and bold hand-painting of the mid-20th century, we have a variety of beautiful designs that symbolize each era.
- Graceful Flowers: Each flower pattern, meticulously hand-painted by skilled artisans, displays a different expression from plate to plate, with the warmth of hand-painting and the layering of colors being its charm. You can enjoy a variety of motifs, including lovely roses, dainty cornflowers, and bold floral patterns.
- The Essence of Japonism: Designs influenced by Japanese aesthetics feature motifs such as bamboo, pine, and plum, as well as compositions that utilize negative space, conveying the serene beauty of the East.
- Refined Colors: Deep blues, vivid pinks and yellows, and soft creams, contrasting with the white or softly colored ground, brightly adorn the dining table.
The unique character of vintage items
The overall crazing (fine crackle patterns on the surface of the glaze), which is evidence of being carefully passed down through many years, and small chips in the glaze seen at the edges, are the unique charm of vintage items. You can enjoy the individuality of each piece. Some plates, having survived over 100 years, are in remarkably beautiful condition.
Add color to your daily life with diverse uses
Beyond arranging sweets as a cake stand, they are also wonderful for serving fruits or dishes, or as trays to display your favorite accessories and small items. Their presence will not only brighten your dining table but also create an artistic atmosphere when displayed in a cabinet, bringing color and elegance to your everyday space.
Please take a look.
