What is "Libellule"?
"Libellule" means "dragonfly" in French. During the Art Nouveau period, natural motifs were often incorporated into art crafts. This series is also appealing for its warm design, which features hand-painted flowers and adorable insects, as if they have sprung from a picture book.

These items are believed to have been produced around the late 19th century. Given the "KG (Keller & Guérin)" mark, it is presumed that they were made after Émile Gallé left Saint-Clément Pottery and Lunéville Pottery acquired Saint-Clément Pottery.
