We've added an antique plate from Sant Amand's Muguet series.
Lily of the Valley announces spring. Saint-Amand "Muguet" plates have arrived
Today, we introduce plates from the "Muguet" series, a masterpiece by the Saint-Amand pottery, which every antique fan in France surely admires.
In fact, all items from this shipment, including those sent to Franjoore Osaka and Kobe stores, have already sold out. Also, the sauciers and raviers I had on hand sold out before being listed on the online shop, which reaffirms the high popularity of this series.
Currently, we only have these three antique plates to introduce to you.
The beauty of delicate hand-knitted lace
"Muguet" is French for "lily of the valley." The greatest charm of this series is the small lily of the valley flowers that encircle the plate. If you look closely, you'll see small flowers facing downwards, arranged at equal intervals, as if the plate is adorned with delicate hand-knitted lace.
The depiction of the central bouquet is also superb, with a slightly bluish, deep green vividly contrasting against the white ceramic surface, creating a dignified and serene atmosphere.
