Added a vintage Digoin & Sarreguemines Mary-Lou plate.
Today, we've added beautiful plates from the charming Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery and lovely cake servers.
Rustic and Elegant Ceramics That Adorned French Daily Life
Pottery from the Digoin & Sarreguemines kilns, long cherished in French homes, is appealing for its simple yet captivating designs. This time, we've particularly added pieces from the "Mary-Lou series," featuring delicate blooming flowers.
The "Mary-Lou" series features clean white or warm cream backgrounds, hand-painted with red and blue flowers, as well as adorable yellow blossoms. Each meticulously drawn flower seems to capture a scene from the French countryside (campagne). The vibrant blue line along the rim tightens the overall look, brightening up any dining table. We have received several pieces with different expressions, from small sizes perfect for dessert plates to larger ones suitable for main dishes.
Adorable "Vintage Ceramic Cake Servers" to Adorn Your Table
This time, we've also added vintage ceramic cake servers that will make your dessert time even more enjoyable. The hand-painted vivid blue floral motif is impressive, and the grid pattern on the handle is a charming detail. They are perfect for serving cakes and pies, and simply displaying them will add a lovely accent to your kitchen or dining area.
Stories Woven Through Time, Now in Your Hands
The vintage ceramics we've introduced today are all one-of-a-kind antique pieces made between the 1920s and 1970s. The texture that comes from many years and the warmth unique to handmade items are special charms not found in modern products.
We hope you will cherish the small individualities of each item (such as changes in color due to age, traces from manufacturing, and slight signs of use) as proof of their vintage nature. For more details on these, please check the respective product pages.
