Beautiful, heart-fluttering vintage tableware has arrived from Montereau, an old and established ceramics manufacturer in France with a long history. This time, we introduce a series that will splendidly decorate your table, characterized by its pale, gentle sky-blue glaze.

Nostalgic yet New: The Charm of Montereau Pottery

Founded in 1719, Montereau Pottery continues to captivate collectors not only in France but around the world with its reliable techniques and designs that are loved across generations. The sky-blue series that has just arrived is said to have been produced between the 1920s and 1950s, and its elegant appearance, which has not faded with time, is its charm.

A common design feature of this series is the delicate relief found on the rim of the dishes, the part connecting to the cavetto, and even in unexpected places. The shadows that change their expression depending on how the light hits them create a rich depth within the simple colors. The warm feel and gentle hues unique to vintage items are perfect for everyday use, as well as for special occasion table settings.

Introducing the Lineup

This shipment includes a wide range of items.

• Vintage Plate (approx. 24cm diameter): A versatile size perfect for main dishes, desserts, or as side plates. The 12-sided design connecting the rim and cavetto is eye-catching. Some may show age-related crazing or cutlery marks, but these are part of the vintage charm to be enjoyed.

• Vintage Deep Dish (approx. 23.8cm diameter): A deep dish ideal for soups, pasta, and stews. Like the plates, it features a 12-sided design, creating a cohesive look when collected as a series. Some may show crazing or small stains, but they are in good condition.

• Vintage Raviere (approx. 25.5cm x 15cm): A long, narrow dish used in French cuisine for serving appetizers. The polygonal relief is beautiful, and it can also be used for fruits, baked goods, or as an accessory tray. Some may have repairs on the back rim, but they show little sign of use and are in good condition.

• Vintage Sauciere (approx. 21cm x 13.5cm): Functions not only as a sauce pot but also as a pitcher for dressings, warm milk, or syrups. The bottom has a beautiful 12-sided shape, and relief is also applied to the back of the spout, showcasing Montereau Pottery's attention to detail even in unseen areas. Some may have repairs on the handle, but overall they are in good condition.

• Vintage Large Platter (approx. 43.5cm x 30cm): An impressive oval serving platter perfect for presenting main dishes. This single piece will brighten up your table. It is in excellent condition with almost no chips, cracks, or signs of use.
