Added vintage dishes from the Longwy factory.

Today, we're excited to introduce a special collection of French vintage pieces that have just joined our ranks. It's the "Blue Flower Motif" series from Longwy Pottery, a renowned ceramic manufacturer from the Lorraine region of France.

Design that embodies the spirit of 1920s Art Deco

The greatest charm of this series lies in its sophisticated design. Created in the 1920s, during the flourishing era of Art Deco, these ceramics possess a modern feel while exuding the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.

Geometric floral motifs, depicted in vibrant blue and subtle grey gradients, adorn a white canvas. These are meticulously hand-painted using the labor-intensive stencil technique. The dot and square borders along the rim provide exquisite accents that complete the overall design.

The moment they grace your table, they will surely evoke an elegant atmosphere, as if a scene from an old French film has been brought to life.

A rich lineup of items to adorn your table

We are pleased to introduce a variety of highly versatile items, all unified by this beautiful design.

  • Plate (approx. 22cm): A versatile size perfect for main dishes, desserts, or bread.
  • Ravier: Ideal for appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, snacks, or even as a decorative holder for small items.
  • Footed Plate (Cake Stand): Not only beautifully displays cakes and baked goods, but also perfect for showcasing accessories. Adds dimension to your table.
  • Large Oval Platter: A grand presence fit for main dishes, fish courses, or party platters.
  • While each item can be enjoyed individually, collecting the series allows you to create a cohesive and French-chic table setting. From everyday use to special occasions, these pieces can be enjoyed in a wide range of scenarios.

The enduring charm of vintage pieces

The Longwy pottery items that have arrived in our collection have journeyed approximately 100 years to reach us. Throughout their long history, each piece bears unique characteristics (signs of use, subtle manufacturing imperfections, glaze chips, etc.). However, these are precisely what authenticate a vintage item, creating an unparalleled individuality that new pieces cannot possess.

    Please take a look.
