French and English Antique & Vintage Plates: Embodying History and Beauty
Today, we have uploaded a total of eight exquisite antique and vintage plates that evoke the history of Europe. We are introducing two special series that will beautifully adorn your dining table and enrich your daily life.
French Vintage H.B.C.M. Tolga Series
First up is a plate from the Tolga series by H.B.C.M. (Creil-Montereau), one of France's leading potteries.
Manufactured between the 1920s and 1950s, this vintage plate is imbued with a timeless French chic charm.
The rim is encircled with exotic botanical patterns drawn with delicate lines and dots. The intricate, lace-like design stands out vividly against the pure white ceramic. It's perfect for everyday use, and also for a slightly more special table setting.
English Antique Burgess & Leigh (Burleigh) Blue Stamp Plate
Next, we introduce an antique plate from Burgess & Leigh (Burleigh), a long-established English pottery.
This piece is even older, estimated to have been manufactured between 1912 and 1919, a very rare period that spanned World War I.
The deep blue and white pattern features a richly combined design of ribbons, scrolls, and small flowers, making it very elegant. It gives a splendid impression, as if the traditional English aesthetic is condensed within it.
For all 8 items uploaded today, we have carefully checked the condition of each and provided detailed descriptions on their individual product pages.
