〜I tried using André Jardin's vegetable brush〜

Hello.
I'm starting the Loane Interior blog today.
I plan to mainly post my thoughts on trying out products and insights into France.
I hope you enjoy reading it!
For the very first post...
I'll be talking about the vegetable brush that recently arrived!

~Trying out the vegetable brush~

First of all, this vegetable brush has a cute appearance and logo color scheme, doesn't it?
But being cute isn't enough.
This time, I tried washing potatoes and carrots!
For carrots, it's rare to encounter ones sold with dirt still on them.
However, when I want to cut them with the skin on and eat them with mayonnaise, I want to wash them thoroughly.
This vegetable brush has two types of bristle hardness, and for carrots, it's best to wash them with the softer, cream-colored side.
You can then safely eat them with the skin on.

And then, potatoes.
This time I bought new potatoes.
For skin-on french fries.
Skin-on potatoes are delicious, aren't they?

First, when I washed them with the softer side, the dirt came off easily.
The indentations also became clean.
However, if you apply too much force, the brush might bend like a worn-out toothbrush, so it seems better to use it gently.

And then, when I washed them with the harder side...
The skin started peeling off rapidly!
Perhaps it's because the skin of new potatoes is soft, but the skin came off surprisingly easily.
Since I wanted to eat skin-on potatoes, I stopped immediately.

It's perfect for vegetables like burdock root and pumpkin that you want to scrub thoroughly!

You want to use a cute brush for as long as possible, right?
Instead of leaving it after use, make sure to drain the water thoroughly. If a lot of water remains, it's not only unsanitary, but the handle can also crack or become discolored as it dries.
It comes with a string, so hanging it up allows the water to drain and it also makes a cute small interior decoration, so I recommend it.

I will post more reviews of various things I've tried.
