Vintage cup - Villeroy & Boch Rusticana B

This is a vintage Villeroy & Boch Rusticana cup.

"Rusticana" means rustic or rural. True to its name, the cup features a beautiful depiction of a peaceful countryside landscape surrounding a lake. The rim is adorned with a lace-like relief, adding an elegant touch. The rhythmic relief is tactile, conveying a warm and gentle feel.

Even the inner bottom of the cup features a wild rose design, making it a small but beautifully intricate piece.

This Villeroy is French-made.

Since the Saar region, bordering Germany, was part of France after the war, this is a rare cup produced as "made in France" during that period.

Manufactured 1947-1956

Crazing and stains are visible. There is also a small chip on the rim.
