This is a dessert plate from U&C Sarreguemines.

It dates back to around 1850. The openwork rim features a panier (basketweave) pattern, creating a charming and delicate design that combines the elegance of lace with the quaintness of a basket.

Though simply colored, the beautiful edging enhances whatever is placed on it.

The plate's surface has imperfections from its creation, including small chips (see photos).

It shows little signs of use and is in good condition.

There is crazing.
