Antique dessert plate, Creil-Montereau, Balivernes N1
This is an antique dessert plate from the "Balivernes" series by Creil et Montereau.
"Balivernes" means nonsense, and this series features humorous illustrations from over 100 years ago.
Take your time to enjoy the irony and humor by appreciating the combination of text and illustrations.
It also looks wonderful displayed on a wall or shelf.
