Antique Plate Creil-Montereau Japon 22.5cm

This is an antique plate from Creil et Montereau's Japon series.

The design features Japanese-inspired patterns that are full of emotion. It's fascinating to see how the French at the time viewed Japanese landscapes and imagined Japanese culture.

Condition: Craquelure and cutlery marks are visible. There is a chip on the rim. There is one protrusion in the center of the plate that occurred during manufacturing.
