This is an antique teacup and saucer from the Sarreguemines pottery, pattern number 252, in the Minton style.
It features a vibrant floral pattern. The colors were hand-painted over a transfer print, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship.
This particular design features flowers and a cuckoo (bird) motif, exuding a sense of Japonisme.
It's a wonderful series, with vibrant flowers blooming on the beautiful translucent white porcelain.
Condition: There is a small crack in the center of the cup (not visible on the surface). Some discoloration is present.
