This is a nativity scene object made of wax, created by Cierge Premontre.

Mother Mary, father Joseph, a cow, and a donkey gently surround and watch over baby Jesus. Each piece is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, yet their serene expressions and soft atmosphere are beautifully recreated in wax.

During Christmas, nativity scene figures or life-sized objects are displayed outside and inside churches. This is because December 25th is the day we celebrate the birth of Christ.
