Antique Dessert Plate, U&C Sarreguemines Eglantier C

This is an antique dessert plate from U&C Sarreguemines' Eglantier series.

"Eglantier" means wild rose.

Wild roses bloom profusely by the roadside, almost too beautiful to ignore. Their free and natural beauty is wonderfully depicted.

Because each plate is hand-painted, the atmosphere and colors of the flowers vary, making it feel as if you are observing real flowers.

It's a lovely plate that you'll want to display and enjoy.

Condition: Extensive fine crazing and discoloration, as well as cutlery marks, are visible. There is a chip-like indentation on the rim, but it is covered with glaze. This plate offers an authentic antique feel.
