Antique Dessert Plate, Sarreguemines Fontanges C

This is an antique dessert plate from the Sarreguemines Fontanges series.

Beautifully blooming flowers. I feel both their delicate charm and a touch of melancholy as they sway gently in the wind while reaching up towards the sky.

The gorgeous border decoration seems to pay homage to the splendor of these brave flowers.

It's a lovely dessert plate with an air of elegance.

There is a chip on the rim, but it is otherwise in good condition.
