Antique Plate W.A.A.&Cie Madrid H

This is an antique oval plate from the William Alsager Adderley and Co. kiln, part of the Madrid series.

The landscape is depicted in grayish blue, with the natural beauty of flowers blooming in a garden exquisitely rendered. There is also fine crazing, giving it a delicate feel.
