This is an antique deep plate from the Badonviller Pottery, part of the Brunoy series.

This antique deep plate from Badonviller, a long-established pottery in the Lorraine region east of Reims, has a charmingly gentle and rustic feel.

The rim of the plate features a garland pattern of intertwined leaves and small flowers (or berries) in a greenish hue.
This design evokes mistletoe, a motif associated with "good luck," "longevity," and "warding off evil" in Europe, giving it a simple yet auspicious and lovely meaning.
The varying shades of green in the pattern and the small dots outlining the rim add depth to the overall design and a handcrafted warmth.

Condition: Craquelure is spread throughout, but it is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
