Antique Deep Plate Onna Moisson A
This is an antique deep plate from the Onnaing pottery, from the Moisson series.
As its name suggests, meaning "harvest" in French, the plate depicts a straw hat with a ribbon, along with lush flowers and plants. Butterflies fluttering gracefully and tiny creatures also appear, creating a narrative design that seems to capture a slice of a early summer garden.
The garland of berries and leaves adorning the rim elegantly frames the delicate pattern, adding a touch of grace to your dining table.
Condition: There is crazing throughout, but no chips or cracks, and it is in good condition. Size: 22cm x 4cm Period: Late 19th to early 20th century
