Antique Deep Plate Onan Moisson B

This is an antique deep plate from the Onnaing pottery, from the "Moisson" series.

As its name suggests, meaning "harvest" in French, the plate depicts a straw hat with a ribbon surrounded by abundant flowers and plants. Butterflies fluttering gracefully and small creatures also appear, creating a narrative-rich design that looks as if a midsummer garden has been captured on the plate.

The garland of berries and leaves adorning the rim elegantly frames the lovely design, adding a graceful touch to your dining table.

Condition: There is crazing throughout, but no chips or cracks, and it is in good condition.
Size: 22.5cm x 4cm
Period: Late 19th to early 20th century
