This is a vintage plate from the Sarreguemines (Sarreguemines) pottery, from the Windsor series.
“Windsor” is the name of a historic town located on the River Thames, west of London.
Its charm lies in its deep, subdued colors, reminiscent of the reddish-brown roofs and walls of that town.
The vividly depicted exotic plant motifs evoke a strong sense of vitality and spirit.
The powerful and rich colors, along with the elegant fluted rim, bring a distinguished and tranquil atmosphere to the dining table.
Condition: There is crazing due to age, some stains, and small nicks on the rim, but there are no chips or cracks, and it remains in good condition.
