This large plate fully showcases the beauty of the lily of the valley. While it has a strong presence, its modest beauty is truly that of the lily of the valley itself.

The lily of the valley is also known as "Kimikage-sou" (shadow-hiding plant) in Japan, evoking the image of a beautiful and modest woman who cherishes a loved one and quietly watches over them from the shadows.

With its rustic and understated beauty, the lily of the valley has long been famous in France as "the flower that brings happiness and brings happiness again." May 1st is "fête du muguet," a day to give lilies of the valley to loved ones. Also, resembling a veiled bride, it is a popular flower given at weddings.
