This is a vintage large deep dish from the Sarreguemines Windsor series.

Windsor is the name of a town along the River Thames, west of London.

The town's roofs and walls are often reddish-brown, and the color scheme of this plate, reminiscent of the town, gives it a very calm atmosphere.

The blue version of the same design is called the "LANCASTER" series, which is also named after a town in England.

Because it's a large deep dish, the spacing between the patterns is just right, giving it a soft impression.

You'll want to display fruits or dried flowers piled high on this generous platter.

There are no cracks or chips, and it shows little signs of use. The glaze on the rim is slightly thin, but it is a large deep dish in excellent condition.

Size: Diameter 32cm x Height 5.5cm
