Antique Creamer, Saint-Clément, Emile Gallé, Libellule
This is an antique creamer from the Saint Clement pottery, part of their Libellule series.
The "Libellule" (Dragonfly) series from the Saint Clement pottery was designed by the master of Art Nouveau, Émile Gallé.
"Libellule" means "dragonfly" in French.
During the Art Nouveau era, natural motifs were frequently incorporated into art and craft works.
Its charm lies in its warm design, featuring hand-painted flowers and adorable insects, as if it popped out of a picture book.
Particularly striking are its distinctive form and beautifully designed handle.
This creamer has a strong presence, making it a picturesque piece even when simply displayed.
As an antique item, please expect some minor scratches and dirt.
Condition: There are several chips, but it remains in good condition for an antique item.
