Antique Pitcher F.F Pecquessonne Roseaux
This is a pitcher from the "ROSEAUX" series by the Pexonne pottery.
As the series name, meaning "reeds," suggests, the soft white ceramic surface is adorned with a rich brown transfer print depicting reeds swaying in the wind and plants majestically blooming by the water's edge, all rendered with great freedom and charm.
From the spout to the handle, it embodies the naturalistic beauty characteristic of the Art Nouveau period.
Its greatest charm lies in its "plump silhouette," with a modest height and a round, soft shape. It easily blends into Japanese living spaces, subtly enhancing tables and chests.
There is a repair mark near the handle, so it is offered at an affordable price.
You can freely use it as a vase to hold plenty of your favorite dried flowers or to softly display seasonal flowers, enjoying the deep, aged character of this antique without worry.
Please enjoy the elegance of this renowned pottery, passed down for over 100 years, as part of your daily interior decor.
