Antique Creil et Montereau Pitcher - Bouquets

This is a pitcher from the "BOUQUETS" series by Creil et Montereau, a prestigious French kiln.

Lush, vibrant various flowers are vividly depicted in a deep rouge (bordeaux) color that stands out against the soft white ceramic body.
From the elegant cutting of the spout, to the classical geometric patterns on the rim, and the three-dimensional decoration on the handle, it is a very ornate piece reflecting the craftsmanship of the artisans of that era.
