Antique Digoin & Sarreguemines White Pitcher

This is a white pitcher from the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory.

Its clean, all-white finish, devoid of any decoration, beautifully accentuates the plump, rounded, sculptural beauty unique to this pottery. The silhouette, flowing from the elegant curved spout to the plump body and graceful handle, makes it a striking object even when simply placed.

With a modest height of 13.5cm and a round, voluminous shape, it blends easily into Japanese living spaces, subtly enhancing tables and chests.

Due to a line (crack) characteristic of antiques on the spout, it is offered at a very reasonable price. 【Condition】
There is crazing due to age and a line (crack) on the rim of the spout. There are also some unremovable dirt-like marks inside, but it is in good condition to be enjoyed as a display piece or a vase for dried flowers, with a nice atmosphere.
