Antique Lavie L&G Clairfontaine Marly
This is an antique Marly series ravière from the Clairefontaine pottery.
A diamond-shaped lady adorned with delicate blue garlands.
This is a ravière from the "Marly" series by the Clairefontaine pottery in eastern France.
Dainty blue flowers encircle the rim, with a modest single bouquet in the center. Its original diamond shape brings rhythm to the table, and simply placing it evokes the atmosphere of an old French dining table.
Utilizing its beautiful diamond silhouette, it also serves as a very useful jewelry tray for displaying your favorite brooches and necklaces.
Condition: A hairline crack is visible from the rim to the well, but it does not detract from the beauty of the pattern and can be enjoyed as a unique antique charm. Otherwise, there are no major chips, and the glaze remains glossy.
Size: Approximately 23.8cm x 13cm, height approximately 3cm
Era: Late 1800s - Early 1900s
