Antique compotier U&C Sarreguemines Houblon (Hops)
This is an antique compote from the U&C Sarreguemines factory, from the Houblon (Hops) series.
"Houblon" is French for "hops."
The hop vines, leaves, and delicate flowers, drawn all around the rim of the dish,
are rendered in delicate monochrome (black/dark gray).
The subdued color palette creates a sophisticated botanical design that isn't overly sweet, blending beautifully with modern tablescapes and interiors.
Place fruits or baked goods on it to adorn your table, or use it as a stand for your favorite accessories and small items,
it will surely add a special touch to your decor.
Condition: Fine crazing is spread throughout, and a hairline crack is visible from the rim.
Small chips are also present on the foot and rim, but it retains its beautiful appearance.
