This is an antique cup and saucer set from the Saint Clement factory, featuring the Libellule series.

The "Libellule" series from the Saint Clement factory was designed by the Art Nouveau master, Émile Gallé.
"Libellule" means "dragonfly" in French.
During the Art Nouveau period, natural motifs were widely incorporated into art and crafts.
Its charm lies in its warm design, like something out of a picture book, with hand-painted flowers and adorable insects.

Particularly striking are the distinctive form and the beautiful handle design.
This cup and saucer set has a strong presence, making it a picturesque item even when simply displayed.

As this is an antique item, please forgive any minor scratches or dirt.

Condition: There is crazing due to age. Small chips are visible on the rim of the cup and the handle, but it generally looks clean and is in relatively good condition.
The saucer is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.

Size: Cup: Approximately 11.5cm x 9cm x 5cm height (6cm including handle)
Saucer: Approximately 13.5cm diameter x 2.4cm height
Period: Believed to have been manufactured around the late 19th century.
Given the "KG (Keller & Guérin)" mark, it is presumed to have been made after Émile Gallé left the Saint Clement factory.
