This is an antique cup and saucer from the Saint Clement pottery, part of the Libellule series.

The "Libellule" (Dragonfly) series from the Saint Clement pottery was designed by Emile Gallé, a master of Art Nouveau.
"Libellule" means "dragonfly" in French.
During the Art Nouveau period, natural motifs were frequently incorporated into decorative arts.
The charm of this series lies in its warm design, featuring hand-painted flowers and adorable insects, as if plucked from a picture book.

Particularly striking are the distinctive form and the beautifully designed handle.
This cup and saucer set has a strong presence, looking picturesque even when simply displayed.

As this is an antique item, please forgive any minor scratches or dirt.

Condition: Two 1.5cm hairline cracks are visible from the rim of the cup, but they are not prominent. It is in relatively good condition.
The saucer has no chips or cracks and remains in excellent condition for an antique item.

Size: Cup: approximately 11.5cm x 9cm x 5cm high (6cm including handle)
Saucer: approximately 13.5cm diameter x 2.4cm high
Era: Believed to have been manufactured around the end of the 19th century.
Given the "KG (Keller & Guérin)" mark, it is presumed to have been made after Emile Gallé left the Saint Clement pottery.
