This is an antique cup and saucer, a "brûlot" in red, from the Sarreguemines factory.

It features a simple yet striking design, accented with deep red lines.

Brûlot cups are typically made thicker than usual, believed to be for "café brûlot" where flambéed alcohol was added to coffee.
Their robust construction makes them ideal for slowly enjoying hot beverages.

Condition: There is crazing due to age, but no chips or cracks, and no signs of use.
It remains in excellent condition for an antique item.
