This is an antique cup and saucer from the Sarreguemines factory, Kyoto series.
The "Kyoto series" exudes a reverence for Japonism.
It depicts Japanese landscapes, buildings, and people's lives from a different perspective. You can feel the modesty and elegance of Japan at the time through this French antique.
The inside of the cup is also richly decorated, making it very elegant.
