This is an antique cup and saucer from the Sarreguemines pottery's Kyoto series.
The "Kyoto series" reflects a deep respect for Japonisme.
It depicts Japanese landscapes, buildings, and people's lives seen from a different perspective. From this French antique, you can feel the modesty and grace of Japan at that time.
The cup's interior is also richly decorated, giving it an elegant look.
It's recommended for rooms with a classic atmosphere, or even Japanese-style rooms.
Condition: There is a large chip on the base of the cup. There are also hairlines (cracks) a few centimeters from the rim, crazing, and stains.
