This is an antique teacup and saucer from the Sarreguemines pottery, Minton pattern #252.
The floral pattern is depicted with vibrant colors. The colors are hand-painted over the transferware, showcasing intricate craftsmanship.
This design features flowers and cuckoos (birds) as motifs, with a distinctive Japonism feel.
It's a beautiful series where vibrant flowers bloom on the translucent white porcelain.
Condition: There is a small crack (not visible on the surface) in the center of the cup, along with some discoloration and fine crazing. Otherwise, there are no chips or cracks, and it is in good condition.
