History of Dressinval
In 1934, André Dressinval's grandfather bought a cafe called Le cafe du centre in Chassey-le-Camp and built the Auberge du Camp Romain. From 1954 to 1976, André Dressinval set up a kiln in a part of that location and worked on his creations.
His colorful and vibrant designs with gold ornamentation became popular and he became famous in the Burgundy region of France. At the height of his career, he became so famous that Lancel commissioned his works.
However, no successor was found, and André Dressinval's techniques were not passed on. It is said that the works currently on the market were created between 1954 and 1976.

About the Ceramics
The unique gold ornamentation uses a special technique to apply pure gold to the ceramics, giving it a beautiful luster. Each piece is handmade, with no two pieces being exactly alike, and every work possesses the individuality unique to handmade items.
The gold ornamentation is also dynamic enough to feel the artist's breath, which is one of its great charms.
The blue glaze with gold ornamentation has a beautiful color palette that rivals the legendary Sèvres porcelain.
