Vintage Aluminum Storage Container Chicorée

It was originally used as a storage container for chicory.

Chicory was a popular coffee substitute in France.

When displayed with other aluminum storage containers, it creates an even more nostalgic atmosphere.

If you turn the bottom of the container, you will find the Tournus company logo.

Tournus was founded in 1910 as an aluminum processing factory in a small town in the Burgundy region of France. It now manufactures stainless steel products.

Product from the 1950s-1970s.

There are many scratches and scuffs on the inside of the container.
