This is a barbotine jam pot from the Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery.
The lid, shaped like a strawberry, is absolutely charming. The plate and pot are integrated, with strawberry leaves and strawberries depicted in three dimensions.
It would also be lovely for holding accessories or small items.
Condition: There is crazing throughout, and chips are visible on the underside of the lid and the rim of the plate, but these are not noticeable from the front.
