Antique Comportier U&C Sarreguemines Géranium

This is an antique compote from the U&C Sarreguemines factory, from the Geranium series.

Manufactured at the Utzschneider pottery in the 1890s, the elegant form, characteristic of compotes, further enhances the delicate geranium motif.

The slender footed base is adorned with a charming geranium pattern all around. Simply serving fruits or baked goods on it will transform your table into a gorgeous French style.
Of course, it would also be lovely displayed as an accessory holder or trinket dish.

Condition: There is some age-related crazing, but it shows no signs of use, no chips or cracks, and is in excellent condition.
