Antique Pedestal Plate U&C Sarreguemines Eglantier

This is an antique footed plate from the U&C Sarreguemines pottery, Eglantier series.

"Eglantier" means wild rose.

Wild roses bloom profusely by the roadside, almost too beautiful to be true. Their freely blooming, natural appearance is beautifully depicted.

Because they are hand-painted, the atmosphere and colors of each flower vary, making you feel as if you are observing real flowers.

This is a lovely footed plate that will make you want to display small items and accessories on it.

Condition: Features abundant fine crazing, discoloration, and cutlery marks. It is a used plate, allowing you to fully enjoy its antique charm.
