Antique Sugar Pot, Creil et Montereau, Muguet (Lily of the Valley)

This is an antique sugar bowl from the Creil et Montereau pottery (Muguet series: Lily of the Valley).

Lilies of the valley bloom quietly in a spring forest. These flowers possess a modest and understated beauty, and when you spot them at your feet, a sense of joy fills your heart. The gilding, which seems to express such a joyful surge of emotion, is also charming. It's a wonderful series that makes you want to admire it.

Condition: There are scuffs and shallow chip-like marks on the lid's handle, but otherwise, there are no chips or cracks, and it is in very good condition. Some parts of the gilding have faded.
