This is an antique coffee cup and saucer from the Sarreguemines factory.
A lovely demitasse cup and saucer.
An elaborate design with colors hand-painted over the transferware.
Each piece features a different pattern, evoking Chinoiserie and Japonisme.
It would look wonderful not only in the kitchen but also displayed on a bookshelf or open shelf.
Condition: Craquelure is present. The saucer has a crack from the rim to the center. The cup has a hairline crack on the bottom, but it does not go all the way through.
