This is an antique cup and saucer from the Saint Clement faience factory, from the Libellule series.

The "Libellule" series from the Saint Clement faience factory was designed by Art Nouveau master Émile Gallé.
"Libellule" means "dragonfly" in French.
During the Art Nouveau period, natural motifs were often incorporated into arts and crafts.
The charm lies in its warm design, featuring hand-painted flowers and adorable insects, as if it jumped right out of a picture book.

Particularly striking are the distinctive form and the beautifully designed handle.
This cup and saucer has a strong presence, looking like a piece of art even when simply placed on display.

As this is an antique item, please forgive any minor scratches or dirt.

Condition: There is some crazing due to age, but there are no chips or cracks, and it remains in excellent condition for an antique item.

Size: Cup: Approximately 11.5cm x 9cm x 5cm high (6cm including handle)
Saucer: Approximately 13.5cm diameter x 2.4cm high
Era: Believed to have been produced around the late 19th century.
Given the "KG (Keller & Guérin)" mark, it is presumed to have been made after Émile Gallé left the Saint Clement faience factory.
